Learning HTML and CSS was my first step to becoming obsessed with web development. Adding Javascript on top of that was just the icing on the cake. I enjoy using HTML, CSS (Sass) and Javascript (jQuery) to create a fluid interactive and responsive experience for user's to enjoy.
Combining a great frontend experience with a trustworthy backend presence has become my passion. Mostly, you can find me using Ruby and Ruby on Rails to create dynamic web applications, but I can also use Sinatra when the time is right (only when I feel like flying to the moon).
My first love. Pursuing design is what introduced me into web development and I plan to utilize the two together to create beautiful websites that are easy for user's to, you know...use. I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Muse.
